That would break the 4-way clue.

Preliminary results for puzzle GP out although I don’t think much is going to change with errors and bonus this time round... I’m pretty chuffed to make the top 3 UK

2. Freddie Hand 798
8. James McGowan 674
23. Tom Collyer 571

Very strong UK results again... also making the top 50 are Sam and Neil, and a bit further back in the top 100 are Adam and Matthew

I purposely spent several extra seconds on each puzzle checking diligently, so I'm relieved that it paid off. Hopefully my error streak for this year has come to an end now...

It's worth mentioning that it's a sudoku GP weekend if you haven't already seen. If you finish up by tomorrow evening there's also a plan to host a video call for anyone who wants to chat about it: http://forum.ukpuzzles.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&p=16834

Some provisional results from the sudoku GP, which don’t look like they’ll change:

22. Sam Cappleman-Lynes 621.7
40. Tom Collyer 514
42. Freddie Hand 508

We also had Jeremy Kong in the top 100, and Matthew White just outside.

The top times were very speedy, perhaps reflective of a slightly smaller set of 13 puzzles - and Sam finally has his clean solve of everything, which is good to see. My solve of the killer was catastrophically stupid meaning I had to abort and leave it on the table, which is a pity as it was a nice puzzle with a very smooth flow. Entering the same answer code for both keys is something I’ll look to avoid in future! It only cost me 20 points and 4 places, so that’s a relatively light mistake compared to what I was fearing.
