Experienced solver, novice quick-solver

Post by cmusson32 » Fri 16 Nov, 2018 6:41 am

Hello everyone, my name is Chris, and although I hate to add to the stereotype, I am an 18-30 year-old male with a degree in maths. The first sudoku I remember doing was when I was 8, and since then I've been doing them quite regularly, but I have only recently discovered the crazy world that is speed-solving and the competitions that go with it.

After seeing the times of some solvers on certain puzzles, I'm not sure I will have any hope of getting close, but I would love to see how much I can improve. Maybe see you at the UKSC2019 !

Welcome Chris!

There's plenty practice material here for you.
Perhaps head to the contests tab on the main site, and try the old UK sudoku (and puzzle!) championships.

Yes, hope to see you, and many more new puzzlers, at the 2019 Open events!
