Shame I won't have time for this - Serkan's competitions are always of the highest quality.
Rest assured I'll be trying this one at a later date.

Re: LMI December Puzzle Test on 23rd-25th
As we have announced in LMI forum, this test will be open through Monday.

Still won't have the time... probably. Family Christmas and all that. But as with all Christmas presents, it's the thought that counts. Many thanks.
Re: LMI December Puzzle Test on 23rd-25th
Not much UK participation in this one (see Deb's "note to self" - Christmas is now sufficiently globalised, even in countries with other religious traditions, that the global puzzle season may take a break around late December in future years) but there were two world class performances. The updated LMI ratings make rather cheerful reading, too.
Thanks for a very enjoyable test! The average number of puzzles solved per solver was relatively low, and the 150-minute duration gives you an indication of just how hard this test was; I don't think it's unreasonable to consider this USPC calibre and upwards. Nevertheless the puzzles came out reasonably cleanly, with a lot of work, and it's always a good sign when you can take on and enjoy, if not necessarily completely solve, puzzles of types you haven't yet conquered before. The next time I encounter a Clone Battle, I'll attack it with confidence and fancy my chances at cracking it!

Wow - good to see Neil and James in the top 10, great work guys. I'm not sure when I'll find the time to have a go at this unofficially - I brought my WSC/WPC papers home with me for the christmas break to polish off the unfinished puzzles and haven't really done any of those either! - but maybe early in the new year...
Re: LMI December Puzzle Test on 23rd-25th
I was at my parents house over Christmas, so I had a printer to hand for this one.
Very pleased to get the Penta Chess correct- I solved it, then realised I needed to work out which pentomino was which for the answer key- my Achilles heel!
Thanks for the puzzles.
And a Happy New Year to all.
